Inspired by the farmland of the Midwest, Derrick Hickman re-creates his pastoral landscapes on vintage reclaimed barn wood that has been salvaged from Ohio farms.  The atmospheric scenes depict the quietness of rural land through sparse shadowed trees, scattered brush lines and open fields.
